LDAP Authentication not working with BF2011 M5 with New UI

LDAP authentication is working as expected when using the current UI on port 8080, but when trying to use the same, LDAP based credentials on port 9080/newui, authentication fails.

At this time LDAP is not working at all in the new UI. We haven't hooked up the back end is all.. the login page will present you with your ldap options, but it doesn't use them at all..
