Ask a question

Can you total real time (estimate/completion) through parent

Hi

Where you have a parent / child relationship, can RTC automatically total up the estimates and completed time in the parent.

Obviously can get complex as you can have many nested levels, but we'd like to be able to look at Stories and see how complete they are and also at the Epic level (has children of Story and Task).

Thanks, Nigel.

We have a report called "Story Points Progress" that shows how you can
do this kind of roll-up using a report. It should be included in the
out-of-the-box reports in com.ibm.team.examples.reports.common.

Thanks and that is a possibility that we will look into, but currently yet to start using Story points (I know - our bad!), but this was primarily a question about estimates.

Thanks again, Nigel.
