I am testing RTC 3.0M8 and noticed many of the defined roles did not have permissions assigned to them. For example, Analyst, Architect, Developer, and Component Lead do not have any permitted actions. In fact only the Project Manager has specific permitted actions assigned to the role.

Is this desired, or will there be more permitted actions assigned to these roles in 3.0RC0?

Yes, we have this on our list to review before GA in all the out of the box process templates.
