Customized report drill in details

Hi All,
I have designed a customized report where i have used a Work item Query and generated a report which outputs the work item ID and summary depending on the due date using BIRT tools. in the BIRT viewer the drill in details of the WI is getting displayed.
i deployed the reports onto a project area and tried to generate the same . the report for the Query is getting generated but the drill in details is not generating.. something addition to be done which i am missing?
please suggest me
