CRJAZ1382E Unsupported Java virtual machine. Please upgrade

Alberto Melendez (611) | asked Jul 31 '10, 7:25 p.m.
I've installed RRC on WAS V6.1.0.25, managed to configure it but when I get into the Jazz Administration I get the following message:

CRJAZ1382E Unsupported Java virtual machine. Please upgrade to the latest version.

I've already tried upgrading to the last WAS FP 31, but it didn't solve the problem. Has anyone seen this problem?

According to
https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/CLMWorkbenchSystemRequirements
, you need WAS 7.0.0.9, which will contain the required JVM level.

Have you restart your WAS instance after upgrade to 7.0.0.13?

I was at WAS v7.0.0.17 and v3.0.1 RC3 and got the informational message too, CRJAZ1382E Unsupported Java virtual machine. Please upgrade to the latest version.

IBM said v7.0.0.17 was not supported, so I went to v7.0.0.9 with v3.0.1 RC3 and still get the same informational message.

Thinking of going to v3 iFIX1 (per IBM) but wondering about just waiting for the next release.

Hi,

It's not immediately obvious, but you have to upgrade the JVM separately...here is the download page for the JVM tested for 7.0.0.9....http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24025889

Hope this helps :D

Hi,

I too hit the same issue with CLM 3.0.1.1 with Websphere 7.0.15 on Windows 2008 64 Bit. Upgrading the sdk fixpack to the one mentioned in the link:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24025889

resolved the issue.

Thanks,
Ravi.
