Next, create a project in your workspace. Import the .rptdesign file
into your workspace. Then you can open it with the BIRT report designer.
Note that our out-of-the-box .rptdesign files can be found in your RTC
client installation area, in the com.ibm.team.examples.reports.common
plug-in folder.
In the BIRT editor, make whatever changes you want and save the file.
(Alternatively, you can make a renamed copy of the file before you start
editing, to keep your changes separate). Then, deploy your report -
instructions on how to do this are in the above wiki page, in the
"Deploying the Report" section.
Let me know if the steps aren't clear.

Hi,
How do I reuse an existing .rptdesign template ?
I'd like to make minor changes to an existing template, but how do I
copy that and save it as a new template ?
Thanks in advance
