ClearCase hidden baseline dependencies - does RTC avoid this
I see discussion earlier on delivering work items with change-set
dependencies and options for dealing with it. ClearCase/UCM suffers from an issue of potentially hitting hidden baseline dependencies when delivering one or more activities while others may be in progress even though there may be no change-set dependencies. This has been a real sore point with some of our ClearCase users. I'm hoping this problem doesn't exist in RTC. Can someone please confirm. Thanks, Brian |

That is correct ... in Jazz, any dependencies are real (i.e. a
change-set only depends on the states of the files that it has changed). Cheers, Geoff (ClearCase Connector team) Brian Gillan wrote: I see discussion earlier on delivering work items with change-set |
