Deploy RRC fronting application and jfs on different servers

How to deploy RRC fronting application and jfs on different servers? Does RRC support this kind of deployment?
I have installed RRC 2.0.0.2 on two machines, one is used as fronting application server, the other is used as jazz foundation server, then I started both of them to setup (configure jfs and rdm urls). When I did setup at step2 (redirect back to rdm from jfs), I met server internal 500 error. If I install RRC in a sinlge server by default url settings, it will be successful.

This is not a support configuration.
The database can be on a different machine/server but the fronting application and jazz application server should be on the same machine.

This post about Collaborative LifeCycle Management suggests that this will change for the next release; one of the deployment images shows requirements / quality / development "applications" each optionally sitting on a machine and using an application server separate from the Jazz Foundation Server.
