Hi,

We have hit a problem where a user can not deliver a change set, they receive the following error.

Assigned work item doesn't meet requirements
Problem
The associated work item must specify that the work is planned for the current iteration.

Reason
All change sets should be associated with a work item which is planned for the current iteration.

This makes it easier for the team to track its progress through the iteration and allows other users to understand why your changes were made.

Solutions
Open Associated Work Item(s)
Mark work item as planned for the current iteration

However the CS is linked to a work item whos Planned For field is set to the current iteration. The sequence of events that has triggered this is as follows.

Task planned for Iteration 1
Change Set created
Current Iteration changes to Iteration 2
Task planned for set to Iteration 2 (Not sure if was a manual or automatic update)
Change Set delivery attempted.
