How to import on eclipse client

Hi,
i have a task of migrating a project area from one repository to another repository. i have created the replica of the project area and team area, along with them i created the iterations also the same ,as in the original repository. now the task is how to export and import the work items for the iterations from the original repository to the new PA . what is the procedure for this. should it be done manually or some other method is to be followed.

please suggest me. I am left with less time.
