How to stop a service running in the server

Hi folks,

I would like to ask if someone knows how to stop a service that is running a query in our RTC server without stopping the server. (com.ibm.team.workitem.service.internalQuery.queryRepositoryService.fetchQueryResults)

The service is running a query in a loop and is consuming a lot of resources in the server.
