Rich text editing - remove CR/LF in cell

eduard erhart (46138) | asked Apr 09 '10, 7:34 a.m.
HI,

I'm trying to edit a cell in a table of a RRC rich text document.

This cell contains text divided by several "new lines" created by the enter key. When I try to remove the new line I remove the whole table.

I tried the del key and the backspace key. Both delete the whole table.

How do I get rid of these new lines without typing the whole table again ....

Seams like a bug for me.

Yes, this is a defect:

And it will be fixed in the upcoming 2.0.0.2 release.

I was able to get around some table weirdness like this (I don't remember if it was this exactly) by copying another cell over the cell contents I couldn't easily delete. I also recall in one case creating a new row or column, coping everything except the offending cell, then deleted the row or column with the offending cell. Definitely an annoying defect.
