How to count the number of project areas on a repo

We have a Jazz repo with hundreds of project areas, but I don't see an easy way to get a quick total. I had to manually count them.

In the Web UI and the Admin Web UI there are list of project areas but no numbering or even pagination that would help me calculate. Maybe I'm just not seeing it.

Any tips? Is there maybe a dashboard widget that could provide a count?

Or is this a possible enhancement request?

One easier way is to click the "Connect to Project Areas" tool button in
the Team Artifacts view of eclipse client (RTC client). And then, in last
page of the popup dialog, you can see a line "X out of Y selected" on the
right-bottom of this page. I think the number "Y" is the one you are
interested.
