Installation failed on RQM 2.0.1
Error Message: An internal error occurred during: "Install Packages".
The Details showed java.lang.NullPointerException.

Am I missing something or the download is not good?

Did you check the sizes of the packages and did they unzip without

error. I have installed to servers with the packages from jazz.net with
out any issues and have been running over 10 hours now. No errors at all.

I can confirm that I also have successfully downloaded and installed RQM 2.0.1 (final) using the 3 disks on Jazz.net. On two separate machines, actually (each with a separate set of downlads). In my case both were clean installs of W2K3 x86 machines and I was using the instance of IBM Installation Manager included in the download (invoked via launchpad.exe).

I agree with @dmehaffy: did you check the sizes of the ZIP files and also check for any errors during unzip?

In any case I recommend re-downloading and they trying again.

After I put the diskTag of disk 1 in the preference of Installation Manager, it was finally installed successfully.

Thanks for this,

This happened to me and I followed your lead and it fixed the problem.
