Free system space by erasing unwanted files. Do not erase database files. If additional space is required, it may be necessary to drop tables and indexes identified as not required.

On unix-based systems, this disk full condition may be due to exceeding the maximum file size allowed for the current userid. Use the chuser command to update fsize. A reboot may be necessary.

This disk full condition may be caused when containers are of varying sizes. If there is sufficient space in the file system, drop the table space and recreate it with containers of equal size.

Bacuase I see around 40GB free space in my E: Drive and nearly 10 Gb Free in C: Drive.

Dont think that is an issue. Are there any settings to be changed at DB2 end.

several questions: What is your pagesize when you created the database
- it should be 16384. Can you connect to the database from the
instance , ie, db2 connect to <dbname> from the db2 user. Do you have
logretain on and/or trakmod on. If you you need to do a db2 backup
before you can use the database. The db2 connect that I suggested will
fail with a backup pending state. BTW the 16K pages and 250000 in the
properties file will create a $G database so make sure you have room and
your db is 64 bit enabled.
