Collaboration
I am using the Visual Studio Client and am wondering how to collaborate (IM and files) with others on my team. I have administrative rights. The manual says there should be a "My Team Areas" that I use in setting up collaboration but I do not have this. Is there a setting that I have incorrect or is the one stream that I have setup an incorrect type?

I have looked around many places and it does not appear that chat or file sharing is an option with Visual Studio client? If am incorrect please let me know.

The RTC Client for Visual Studio is not integrated yet with IM clients in terms of team presence.
The one thing that it does support since 2.0.0.2 is for you to drag and drop work items from the RTC Client to your chat/email client - we've found this to be one of the most common use cases that people want.
