Migrating Favorites

I finally have a new laptop and have succeeded in getting RTC eclipse
client installed and working. However, the items I had saved under
Favorites (queries, iteration plans, etc..) is empty. The RTC Favorites
must be some bit of client meta-data saved somewhere instead of being saved on the server.

Anyone have any idea if there is a way to migrate Favorites from one RTC
install to another?

They live in <workspace>\.metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.team.foundation.rcp.core

Just copy the favorites.xml over and ensure you have identical
repository connections.

In 3.0 we plan to move favorites to a central storage.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried copying my favorites.xml to the location but, it didn't work. After copying favorites.xml, stopping, starting RTC, I don't see my favorites. After looking at the filesystem in the dir where I copied them, it appears RTC copied or rewrote the previous favorites.xml. Yes, I am positive I copied in the right place. I did it twice and double checked everything.

Is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks,

Carlton

Dont modify files in these directories when RTC is running. Shutdown prior.
