How to use the java compiler of RTC in a build engine?

While doing the Tutorial Lesson 8: Jazz Team build, I realised that I did not have the Java compiler installed, so I could not finish the lesson.

However, during earlier lessons I was able to run the HelloWorld applications. But if I can run it, RTC must be able to compile it first!

Can we use the java compiler that RTC uses in a build as set up in Lesson 8 of the tutorial? If so, how?

Frank.

RTC client has a jdk including the compiler and jre. It's in clientinstalldir/jazz/client/eclipse/jdk. You can set the java home on the Ant tab of Build Definition page to the value. But I did not try it. I set the RTC client jdk as my default jre for my eclipse IDE.
