CRJAZ1394E - User ID not recognizable on Jazz Team Server login
Hi,
I am trying to access an EWM project area but I am getting the following errors when logging in:
"CRJAZ1394E The user ID cannot connect to the repository because
it is not assigned to a repository group that has permissions to
access the repository."
Questions:
1. What is the exact process to get a user account created in JTS?
2. What licenses/groups are needed for basic project area access?
3. Is there a self-service way to request access, or does an admin
need to manually create the account?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

This message means that your user ID is recognised by the JTS authentication mechanism (I assume your corporate LDAP in this case), but you haven't been added as a member to any of the groups that are allowed to access your ELM server.
There are several LDAP groups used by ELM to grant access to the server, the main one being "Jazzusers". This LDAP group will either exist directly, or there will be some other LDAP group your IT folks have created and mapped to this name on the JTS. Once you've been added to one of the Jazz* groups, and the server has synced the user data, the JTS will automatically create an account for you. The sync happens every night, but can also be manually triggered by a Jazz Admin.
Once you have a user account, you'll be able to log in and see your personal dashboard but, before you can do anything useful, you will need to have a license type assigned to your account, and you'll need to be added to project areas and given a role in those areas.
