Using EWM for PI planning

Is there any IBM documentation for implementing PI planning using EWM? I see only https://jazz.net/safe4.6_practices/practice.mgmt.safe.base-ibm/tasks/pi_planning_event_1464D0C7.html which doesn't look like latest.

https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/targetprocess/atp/saas?topic=ep-calculate-capacity-team-iteration-automatically-based-previous-velocities doesn't look like EWM UI.

If anyone can point to latest/correct documentation, that will be helpful.

Also, Does EWM support calculations? Can we calculate the value based on other attribute values and set the result as value for another attribute?

Samarth,

EWM supports calculations. You have to use some API code to run when certain things happen but it can definitely work.

Another option is to use calculations within report builder instead. You can turn the report into a dashboard widgets and the calculations run on the fly.

Which use case you use depends on your needs.

Regarding PI planning, with all of the different views into the data, like kanban boards and the swimlanes and the like, what specific feature are you looking for that you aren't finding with SAFe and PI Planning?
