CSV-Export: "Parent" Field is empty

Martin Erzberger (131199) | asked Dec 28 '09, 10:01 a.m.
Hi

I've used the Web Client to create a query which contains "Parent" and "Depends on" as part of the Result Layout. Running the query in the Web Client shows these fields populated as expected (rendered links).

When I use the Eclipse Client to export to CSV (right-click on the query, "Export Work Items...", then both fields are always empty in the resulting CSV file. The same happens when I export to html.

How can I get the ID of the "Parent" and the "Depends on" in an export file? I need to import into MS Project, and thus have to recreate these dependencies.

Thanks and regards, Martin

P.S. RTC 2.0.0.2, both on server and eclipse client.

I assume you have selected these fields for the export? I suggest
opening a work item against "Work Item" and describe this issue.
