The term lookup function doesn't work when the term contains an ampersand

I have a number of terms in my glossary that contain an ampersand (&). When I try to lookup the terms from a requirement, the terms are not returned. Is there a limitation on special characters that I'm not aware of? 

Sample list of terms:

  • C&I
  • D&D
  • I&W
  • M&S
  • O&M
  • OT&E
  • R&D
  • V&V

Ampersands are problematic because they are used all the time in HTML and rich text. One thought - have you tried searching based on the & expansion to see if that works? 

If it does then it's a kludgy work around but I'd still raise a ticket with IBM Support
