 Hi, 


Looks like the linked work items were actually implemented. 
I where do I find this functionality in the documentation?

We are having to handle exactly what the OP described, FPGA binaries and CAD data as a short term solution to a problem we have, so we are looking to EWM SCM in the meantime.

 Can you check https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/engineering-lifecycle-management-suite/workflow-management/7.0.3?topic=control-automatically-locking-specific-file-types ? You want to "Lock" files and other items under SCM.

 Hi Ralph, yes, I think we have figured this out now. I think the "lock" was confusing for us because Lock has a slightly different meaning in another tool we use commonly.
