How to get data out of an old version of CLM to preserve it for audit purposes

So our support mechanism is unable to answer a question in this respect so asking here is anybody has done this and if so how.

CLM is an old 502 version - the servers need to be decommissioned and the existing toolset will be replaced.  We need to preserve the data from the old system "just in case"

I know we can export out work item data, but you can't get the history or the approval data
We can use PDF prints of RQM data
For DoorsNG there doesn't appear to be any exportable mechanism to preserve the data.

Does anybody know if there's a third part script or any mechanism to preserve the data ?

Karen,

for EWM you can look into the reportable REST API https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ReportsRESTAPI#Reportable_REST_API that allows access to approvals and also to some extend to the history.

EWM, DNG, ETM have a reportable REST API.

For Doors Next, there is the ReqIF export that should be importable into other systems to some extend.

In general, there is no easy way to store all the data over years. You would have to keep updating the environment and keep the VM's. This is also, because of security issues, where algorithms and cyphers expire.
