icons for Components

Marcel Kinard (71107) | asked Dec 08 '09, 2:42 p.m.
I've noticed that the tetris / tee icon for a component is sometimes "empty" (just an outline) or other times "filled in" (solid blue). What is the difference between these two?

If I understand your question, a filled in icon means that the component
is loaded into your Eclipse workspace.

Further, what does it mean wihen there's a amber peg person head on the upper left of that tetris icon. I think it has to do with ownership, however, I've not been able to replicate it.

You are correct. The yellow person means the component is owned by a user
instead of a team area. It does not affect the usability of the component.
Just a little indication that a user (as opposed to a team) has control of
changing access control for that component.
