DOORS NG: Link Explorer: Possible to enforce hierarchy?
I was wondering if there is any way to automatically enforce a hierarchy in the Link Explorer.
Scenario:Two customer requirements trace into one system level requirement.
Result: They get generated in a line which makes it very hard to read:
[Customer requirement 1]-satisfied by->[System Level requirement]<-satisfies-[Customer requirement 2]
Better would be:
[Customer requirement 1]---satisfied by--->[System Level requirement]
[Customer requirement 2]---satisfied by--/
Is it possible to automatically enforce a hierarchy so that artifacts are organized per layer?

Hello,
the standard Link Explorer is not able to do this. Here are your possible options:
- IBM commercial product called (ex RELM) ELO Insights - you can setup custom views there and enforce hierarchy
- JRS application (free app on your server)
- Excel generated and auto-updated based on JRS report (free)
- Softacus add-on which is showing linked artifacts once you click on artifact (i.e. in Module)
