DOORS Next .archive Template Backwards Compatibility V7 -> V6

If I create a DOORS Next project template i.e. artefacts, attributes, attrTypes, link types etc. (not a process template) and I download that template as a .archive file then can that .archive file be uploaded to a V606 database to create a template in V606?

Or if not then can a ReqIF file be sent from a V7 database to a V606 database in order to share a project template (artefacts, attributes, types, link types etc.) with V606?

Sean,

Moving the template of artifact from 7.0 to 6.0 is not supported. Some time ago I had the same and I found in documentation that it is not supported.

Thanks Bartosz I tried it out and V6 allows the upload of V7 template I can also create a project from the template and it seems mostly to function. Except that all the artifact name attributes values are blank. So it evidently does not work. Strange that DNG V6 does not complain about version incompatibility. If you tried to restore a DOORS Classic V9 archive into V8 it would not be allowed. The application would prevent the attempt.
