CI: Adding Jenkins build link to accepted work items

Rakesh A (33533) | asked Sep 09 '20, 6:24 a.m.
Hello,
I want to add Jenkins build link to accepted work items in RTC. I have enabled this option in jenkins Freestyle job. But when a build is triggered, I don't see any Jenkins link getting assigned to accepted workitem.

Let me know how this can be done.

Thanks
Rakesh

Could you check if the change sets and work items are showing up in the Jenkins build's Changes page? It is to those work items that the Jenkins build link will be added. I am assuming you are using repository workspace configuration in the Jenkins job.

Now I can see the build getting associated to the work item and even change sets and work items are showing up in the Jenkins build's Changes page. But in the rtc client when I go to build definition --> Show build results --> build job : here in the build results dashboard : Contribution summary is not logged with that work item.
