DNG - what is difference between File and Text format of Artifact Type

David Sedar (2838) | asked Mar 20 '20, 10:39 a.m.

I have discovered that Insert Image works correctly in artefacts with an Artifact Type format of File, but not Text.

Is this correct?
Is there a workaround?
Note we are in a SaaS environment, so have no access to templates.

Hi david,

Insert Image works OK in Artifacts of base type text.

When you insert the image you have to upload it into a separate artifact in a nested operation.

You have to choose an artifact type for the new picture artifact but a base artifact type of Text is OK for this new imported image artifact.

This works the same in SaaS or locally hosted invironment

Insert image into existing text

Click 'upload a new image' to browse to your image file.

New artifact gets created to contain image. base type Text is OK.
Image artifact then shows up nested inside originally existing Text artifact.
