SVG Import in DNG

Fabian Weiss (155) | asked Aug 12 '19, 11:35 a.m.

Hi all,

do anyone know, if it's possible to import a SVG file to edit it with the rich feature editor in DNG?

The idea is to export a visio drawing to SVG and than import to DNG, so that it remains editable with the rich feature editor.

Thanks and best regards,

Fabian

It's a nice thought, but no it's not currently possible--no SVG-importer.  As you seem to know (but for the benefit of others who ready this ... you can upload an image file as an "attachment" and it may even be possible to preview view with no extra effort (I haven't tried a SVG file). And you can have attributes on it, link, embed it in another DNG artifact... but it's not editable in DNG.
