Adding a JTS server as floating license server.

Anirudha Punekar (42111) | asked Mar 12 '19, 2:14 a.m.
Hello All,

I am using CLM version 6.0.5, I have configured a 'JTS Server A' as a floating license server and it has all the floating licenses installed in it.
I want to use this server as a Floating License server for another 'Server B'. I have already added the 'Server A' as a friend server for 'Server B'.
In the Floating License Server tab for 'Server B', 'This server is connected to license server at https://ServerA:9443/jts/.' But am also getting the message '
This server is not a Floating License Server (0 Floating License types installed).'

Also am unable to upload Client License Activation Keys. It gives the error 'The fileĀ  you uploaded doesn't contain any CAL or server keys.'

Whereas 'Server A' it is already registered as acts as a Floating license server for itself and also CALs are installed and working.

Is there that I am missing some steps or doing something wrong. Any help on this would be great.

Thanks in advance.

when creating server A and B as friends, did you have a functional id associated with it?
