Mylyn for RTC 2.0?

Frank Gerhardt (9144) | asked Oct 26 '09, 5:57 a.m.
Hi,

I could not find a Mylyn download for 2.0. Of course there is some
overlap with task management but I miss Mylyn's task-focused UI.
Has support for Mylyn been dropped or is it available anywhere else?

Frank.

Frank,

We no longer publish the Mylyn incubator code since it was unmaintained
while both RTC and Mylyn changed APIs considerably.

We've been working with Mik so that Mylyn would support a more generic integration with CM systems via the OSLC interfaces. I seem to recall a demo of Mylyn working against CQ and RTC against these APIs.

This is the direction we are going with for Mylyn, instead of product specific, we would like tools to use the OSLC APIs so that integrations are no longer hard-wired to one product only.

Cheers,
Jean-Michel

Michael, Jean-Michel,

thank you for your response. OSLC looks promising. I hope this will get
a wide adoption.

Frank.
