scm accept command is updating the workspace but not the log file

Querier Q (111) | asked Oct 17 '18, 10:39 a.m.

I am running scm accept command on a loaded workspace and writing the logs to a text file which in turn is being used by another process to fetch some data.

The workspace folder is being updated with the files that are recently checked in but the log file is not having any entries of those files. this is causing the later process to not work correctly.
Can someone please help with this issue.

I'd suggest showing how the scm command is being executed [ cleansed for URL and ID privacy, of course ]   There doesn't appear to be an option to write results to a specific command ( although the ~/.jazz_scm folder will have logs ).

I'm confused... the first paragraph says you are performing an 'Accept', but the 2nd paragraph says "...being updated with the files that are recently checked-in..."

Accept and Check-in are completely different things in Jazz SCM terminology...

Also, as Kevin says you'll need to elaborate a lot more on what you are writing to the logs, and how...
