Backup repository workspace before running build

I just want to take the backup my Build workspace before starting a build, is there any procedure or run a script in build definition itself to take backup work space into different folder.

please suggest.

This question seems to not make any sense.

Anyway, If you want to retain the build data, use a new load location in every build. For public builds, the snapshot created is the "backup".
