Comment size(maximum characters) allowed in change sets of ALM

Query about ALM:
Trying to set comment for my change sets through programmatically. Based on the changes in my change sets it will generate the comment. If my changes increases drastically then my comments also increases in the same way. So I would like to know how much maximum characters are allowed in the change sets comment.
