Javascript for DNG Views?

Linda Roberts (31310) | asked Apr 03 '18, 1:30 p.m.

Is there a way to use javascript to create columns in views for DNG that mash up data (similar to how we used DXL for views in DOORS?)

Barring that, or in any case, how can I get started learning how to use javascript with Jazz?

(I've used it in RPE.)

We are using DNG 6.0.4 and RPE 2.1.1

The only way to do this AFAIK is to use Javascript to set the value of an artifact attribute based on the values of other artifact attributes or properties (like  a DXL attribute rather than a DXL column in old DOORS)

The only resources I know of for getting started with this are the OSLC workshop resources

Hello
I am not sure if it is possible to create columns in views for DNG using javascript. My gut tells me no.  But, the only javascript with DNG option I am aware of is the Client Extension API for DNG, described here: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RMExtensionsOverview605

Thanks. Not sure I like "no" as an answer, but I appreciate the honesty and the weblink.
