How to create chart in excel based on data from RTC?

Xiao Ying Hu (111) | asked Nov 20 '17, 9:45 p.m.

The existing widgets in RTC are very helpful but seems it's still could not satisfy all the reporting requirements. So sometimes I need extract the data in RTC to excel, do some data collection and calculation, and then create charts in excel for my report.
Is there a way to automate this? Any interface available? Any scripts sample? Thanks.

 Hi Xiao Ying,
Have you considered using JRS (Jazz Reporting Solutions; sometimes know as Report Builder)? It's possible to then export the JRS results to Excel either as a static snapshot or dynamically refreshable.
Perhaps you can start your exploration by reading this thread.
or
Each version of JRS have more and more capabilities. Which version of CLM are you on?
Good luck with your work.

You can also switch to the JRS corresponding to your version.
Let me know if you have any addition JRS related questions.
