[closed] Problem on CQ CRMDB0000E SQLDriverConnect: RETCODE=-1, State=08001, Native Error=0 [IBM Rational DataDirect][ODBC DB2 Wire Protocol driver]Unexpected Network Error. ErrNum = 11001

We face and issue with CQ in which the message displayed was something like this:

CRMDB0000E SQLDriverConnect: RETCODE=-1, State=08001, Native Error=0
[IBM Rational DataDirect][ODBC DB2 Wire Protocol driver]Unexpected Network Error.  ErrNum = 11001

We searched through the DB2 databases and they were connecting good, with the exception of some databases that were having issues to connect.

We tried doing some things like the command from CQ to bind the database but the same error was being shown.

Cause of the issue:
Server got a change of hostname in the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) and it seems DB2 was in conflict with such change.

Resolved by:
Added the new hostname into the hosts file of the server and then DB2 and CQ were connecting properly.
