JRS -> RPE issue. Authentication error.

CLM 603
RPE 2.1.2

I ran the JRS report. Exported the .dta and .dsx and (from the same machine) tried to generate the doc. It failed, even when putting in user and password.

You need to set authentication method to "Basic" for JRS. It seems to be OAuth or Auto.

Thanks,

That did it. Is there a diff when choosing Basic vs Oauth? Is it Oauth for connecting to DNG/Rational products and Basic for JRS created templates?

The authentication method used by product like DNG, JRS should be set in RPE too.
JRS is generally Basic
DNG is generally OAuth
DNG on JSA SSO environment is Basic again.
