Integrating Jazz code and GitHub/ZenHub work items (issues)

Phillip Viana (1146) | asked Aug 30 '17, 3:00 p.m.

I am aware of the integration between GitHub code and RTC work items. However, I am looking for a way to integrate the other way around, i.e. to have a particular GitHub/ZenHub issue updated once a new delivery is made to a Jazz component. The objective is to link deliveries to "work items" (actually issues), just like Jazz does by default, but with GitHub/ZenHub as the project management platform.

Initially this sounds impractical, since it would require RTC to support the change set association to a GitHub/ZenHub issue and I don't think such mix exists by default, but I thought I'd ask. Are there any implementations or alternatives that you know?

I am not aware of such a thing. There are synchronization solutions in the market that synchronize change management items across tool boundaries. You could look into Tasktop. They provide a broad variety of integrations: https://www.tasktop.com/integrations
