Currently I want to migrate data from DOORS NG to Rational DOORS since another company hasn't updated their DOORS software to DOORS NG. I know we could exported a DMA file from DOORS and then imported to Doors NG, I am wondering how could we export data from DOORS NG to Rational DOORS?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Han,

From your DNG projects 'project properties' page you can go to the REqIF tab, and there you can create a ReqIF definition and then export your DNG data to a ReqIF file and import this into Doors:

DOORS NG to DOORS data migration is possible using OpsHub Integration Manager. In fact, by using OpsHub Integration Manager, it is even possible to retain the history of DOORS NG data with traceability for objects linked to each other.

Migration using OpsHub Integration Manager is hassle-free and it ensures:

  • Traceability of data and relationships in the new system
  • Complete online migration with zero system downtime
