Why the custom artifact attribute is NOT editable?

 I'm playing with DNG 6.0.3 trail version.


I created a new artifact attribute (string) from Manage Component properties. When I backed to Requirements Management application, the value of created artifact attribute was unchangeable. Any ideas? Am I missing any steps to create a new artifact attribute?

There are three steps:

  1. Create a data type (if it doesn't already exist)
  2. Create the attribute type while specifying the data type (if the attribute type does not exist doesn't already exist)
  3. Add the attribute to an artifact type (assuming the artifact type already exists; if not create it first)
