Creation of an RRC project template

Sharon Sorenson (4641) | asked Sep 03 '09, 10:51 a.m.
I am interested in creating an RRC project template that defines a set of requirement types, a basic structure and has artifact templates and guidance documentation built in so that we can standardize our RRC projects.

I have been unable to find any documentation on creation of an RRC project template.

Our current work-around is to copy an existing project but that has not been a satisfactory solution because the artifact templates are not carried forward.

Where can I find instructions to create an RRC project template?

User defined project templates is not currently supported.
However the upcoming 2.0 release supports download/upload of templates if you download from/upload to the root folder of a new project.
So you can create a "template" project, download it and then upload to each new project you create.

And there is a work item open for this: 16092: Ability to support user-defined project templates
