frequency for repotools compacttdb

how often compacttb needs to run? Can I run it once a year? once a month? Any rule of thumb to do it? Thanks! |

This is governed by many factors, including the usage in your organization, so I don't think there is a rule of thumb. In the deployment wiki on DB sizing it is recommended to monitor the size to find a pattern. I think this would be the recommended way to determine timing.
