0.6 M4 is now 1.0 M4 !?
I noticed 0.6 M4 changed name to 1.0 M4 on the download page. First I thought is was the beta2 release, but after downloading the packages I discovered the file sizes was identical to 0.6 M4 which made me run md5sum confirming the 0.6 and 1.0 packages being identical.
A bit confusing, I think. I could find no information of this name change on the download page. Guess this mean beta2 will be called 1.0 M4a. BR //OLof |

The "0.6" is the version number for the Jazz platform (which will be at
"0.6" level when Rational Team Concert 1.0 ships). So all these 0.6 references in a Rational Team Concert context were holdovers from before we had a commitment for a Rational Team Concert product. We're going through the various names of things and replacing "0.6" with "1.0" when the reference is to the first release of Rational Team Concert". This is the first instance of that renaming pass ... WRT milestone naming, we have an intermediate milestone in each iteration, called "D1" ("delivery one", as I recall). So in milestone M4, there is an intermediate milestone release "M4D1", and then the final milestone release "M4". There was some initial experimentation with calling the releases things like M4a and M4b, but we settled on the M4D1 and M4 terminology, so the a/b terminology is discouraged. Although Beta2 has been released from the Jazz Integrations M4 stream, it's name is just "beta2", rather than some variant of M4. So beta2 will just be called 1.0 beta2.
