Could not save work item. Illegal JSON Array: Test-I.

I am getting the below error on trying to save a field named "ISSUE" of type "Large HTML". Any ideas on how to resolve this.

I am able to save if I leave this field blank.

Hi Pravin, some questions to you:

1) What version are you using?

2) Is "Test-I" the work item type?

3) Can you share with us the content of the field?

3-A) If you can't for security reasons, is it possible to shorten the content to be without sensitive data?

1) The version is RTC v5.0.2

2) Test-I is the content of that field.

3) The field is named "Issue:" and it is of type "Large HTML"

How exactly did you put the content in the Large HTML attribute? Using the web client? If so, what presentation?

I enter the content using web client. My apologies, the version is 4.0.3.

Presentation is "Work Item Editor"

That version is quite old. I can only find one old post with the same error, but it is related to Enumerations, not Large HTML.

You may need to contact Support but the first thing you will hear would be upgrade to a newer version.
