Define iterations outside eclipse client
Is this possible? Either using the web UI or visual studio? We run mainly visual studio projects and it tends to be the project manager / analyst who plug in the iteration detail and they are finding the eclipse client difficult to navigate. Basically I want to kick off the planning stage of a project without having them having to use the eclipse client. Any help appreciated!

What about the web client?

What about the web client?
Can't see how to do it - its the add the timeline / define iterations / add plan in the scrum process which I have only acheived with eclipse. Cheers.
Hi Colette,
I couldn't find a way to do this in the web client either.
What I was able to do in the web client (project area administration) related to time lines is:
- Create and edit the time line on the highest level - I haven't find a way to edit the internal structure though
- manage permissions aligned to the timeline
The help states only these options: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rtc/v2r0m0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.team.platform.doc/topics/t_modifying_project_timeline_web.html
So I believe this is not possible today.
If it is I hope someone corrects me.

As Jared indicated we have added support in the web for timeline and
iteration management in the RTC 2.0.0.1 release. You can see what
functionality has been implemented in comparison to the Eclipse client by
following along with story 86545. There are a significant number of
children workitems associated with it that indicate what has been completed,
what's left to do and any known issues discovered during the initial
development and testing.

To add to this, we've added planning capability in the Visual Studio Client as well - that's slated for the 2.0.0.1 release in September. The milestone builds are up there in jazz.net in case you wanted a preview.
