Automatic creation of "mentioned by" links over project areas

Georg Kellner (840479109) | asked Apr 26 '16, 7:20 a.m.
Hi fellows,

our users are a little bit confused.
Someone in ProjectArea A typed in Task 12345, which was obviously a typo, but this created a link to the task in an other Project Area.
Even the person, writing the description, has no access to ProjectArea B.

This leads to confusion, as no one of both projects can't see, what and why a workitem mentions the other.

Is this expected behavior or a defect?

greetings georg.

Hi Georg,
This is intended behavior and currently there is no option to remove the mistyped link. Anyway there is an Enhancement 172518: As a user I want to be able to remove erroneous mentions link.
You can subscribe to it to track the progress.
