RQM inherit values from testcase to execution record:
In RQM is there any option to inheriting attribute such as  category values from Testcase artifact to other artifacts ,such as Execution Records?

There is no option to customize which attributes are inherited from a test case to a test case execution record (TCER).  Attributes like weight and estimate from a test case are used to initialize the TCER.  The test case categories are completely separated from the TCER categories.  Although the test case categories are not directly referenced within the TCER, we do support query in the test case execution records list view to filter by test case categories.

Hi, Yossi

If you create a category in Execution Record, you can 'add value' to the category in TER(right click the category and select menu 'add value')  and those values can be the category values you defined in test case category. But you have to manually do that because the current RQM does not automatically 'flow' the values or share the category among the artifacts.

This feature is quite popular and is being requested by many users in this existing RFE:

You may want to comment on the RFE work item and express your expectation of this feature.
Thanks
