When creating a work item copy can you have it default to certain fields selected?

For example: if a work item type has 50 attributes and you want the default copy to only copy 10 of the 50 can this be set somewhere? Or does the user have to select those 10 attributes to be copied and deselect the other 40 each time?

Remembering the settings may not be as easy as you first thought. Attributes can be different for work item types, and each project can have different work item types. When there are hundreds of projects, it can be very challenging for the tool to track and maintain such settings.

Looking into the tool and just doing it reveals that copy work item prompts you with a small selection of common attributes. You can select from that selection, you can't select other attributes and there is also no place I am aware of where you could configure anything related to this.

Thanks Ralph! I was hoping there was a place that this could be configured.
